Song for the end of the world

Angels are screaming
at the lies and injustice
but flowers are blossoming
and dance in the wind;
People are dying
starved and deserted,
forsaken I wander
along a seashore
Craving some answers
my tears fall unending
soon I shall die
and this world be forgotten;
but I know Truth will live on
will live on, will live on
in the huge silence
when words are no more
