Rage against the dying of the light

The poster shows
a sexy girl and asks:
Amsterdam, are you dirty?
I begin wondering if the word "dirty" has changed its meaning.
After all, a few years ago "sad" meant "cheerful"
or was it "bad" that meant "cool"
or "cool" that meant "socially acceptable"?
I'm fascinated by these changes,
though it's hard to keep up with them all
But a dew days ago, Yuval Hariri,
the man who wrote the best-seller Sapiens
explained to me (and an audience of eager students)
exactly what AI means today.
I am so relieved!
It seems that AI machines — can't smell (yet!)
And — drop them in the middle of a jungle,
without any electricity, and they'd be nowhere.
Is this a consolation?
Being a huge word-lover,
I don't want, or need, competition from a machine
that regurgitates faster than me:
a poem isn't a matter of speed!
(Quick quick, who's first with the right answer?)
In poetry there is no perfect right.
Only something leading onwards…
