Fifty years later
it isn't the room
the having or not of a lock on one's door
not only economic independence
being sure of tomorrow's bread
and warm socks for old age
it is the other room that interferes
the womb for growing life
the allowing or by all means preventing
your sperm in shattering meeting
it is that room of silent growth
which denied grows so importunate
strident or muted
it is that place and that decision
shall I throw dynamite into the sun
or otherways retire
into my place
unshared
undared
and ultimately dead
forever
